Idaho Immunization Coalition - Shot Smarts
The IIP will be conducting another series of Shot Smarts immunization conferences this May. The first will be held in Idaho Falls on the 21st, Boise on the 22nd and Coeur d'Alene on the 24th. Idaho pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurses, OB-GYNs, medical assistants, practice office staff, as well as school nurses will be invited to attend. Meningitis Prevention: community Strategies That Work
Join with other immunization providers & colleagues to learn about community strategies for preventing meningitis and its debilitating impacts on our families and youth. When Frankie’s son Ryan died from meningococcal meningitis, Milley founded Meningitis Angels, a nonprofit international network for education, survivor communication, and other services. She helped to write Texas Senate Bill 31 which made Texas the first state in the U.S. that educates students of all ages on bacterial meningitis.

Immunize Oregon Round Table
The Round Table is a day long, FREE educational event centered around immunizations and State immunization infrastructure. Nurses, MAs, immunization coordinators, and community partners are encouraged to attend. Immunize Oregon is a new coalition formed by the merging of the Oregon Adult Immunization Coalition (OAIC) and the Oregon Partnership to Immunize Children (OPIC). 19th Annual PA immunization Conference. The full-day agenda for PIC 2013 will include an Immunization Update by an expert from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, updates on pertussis, measles and mumps, data surveillance of vaccine preventable diseases in Pennsylvania stories - presented by survivors of vaccine preventable diseases, vaccine exemption information, and much more.
